The majority of Canadians and Canadian organizations are ill prepared to deal with major cyber threats. And cyber security professionals have been slow to recognize the need for behaviour defences as social engineering techniques become the most common cyber threat.
Project Civ aims to broaden how we think about cyber security to include knowledge and research from the social sciences. We also strive to make cyber security more accessible to activists, journalists, startups or people and organizations that are the most likely to get targeted.
